Upon successful payment and delivery of a license key, UnSafeExamBrowser grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to install and use the UnSafeExamBrowser software on a single computer registered at the time of activation. The license is valid for the duration of the plan purchased (1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year, or Lifetime).
Each license key is bound to one (1) computer at the moment of first activation. Attempting to activate the same key on a second device will fail. If you need to transfer your license to a new computer (e.g. due to hardware replacement), contact support at support@unsafeexambrowser.com — we will handle transfers on a case-by-case basis at no charge.
Time-based licenses (1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year) expire automatically after the purchased period. The software will cease to function after expiry. Lifetime licenses do not expire as long as you are using a supported version of the software.
If you wish to upgrade to a longer plan, contact support. We will deactivate your current key and issue a new key for the upgraded duration. Any remaining time on your current plan is non-refundable but may be taken into account at our discretion.
Consumers within the European Union have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase of digital content. By ticking the consent checkbox at checkout — "I expressly consent to immediate provision of the digital content and acknowledge that this waives my 14-day withdrawal right upon activation" — and proceeding to pay, you expressly waive this right at the moment your license key is activated, in accordance with Art. 16(m) of the Directive. Until activation, the withdrawal right is preserved.

Once a license key has been activated on a computer, you have waived your withdrawal right and the purchase is final. Exceptions are considered only in cases where:

Refunds issued directly via the Stripe Dashboard automatically trigger license deactivation on our server within seconds via webhook. You do not need to notify us separately if the refund was processed through Stripe.
UnSafeExamBrowser reserves the right to revoke a license key without refund if there is evidence of key sharing, fraudulent purchase, or violation of these terms.
The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. UnSafeExamBrowser does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the license.
